MedScribe: Azure OpenAI speeds appeals letter generation

Acentra Health built and deployed MedScribe, a web application that uses Azure OpenAI Service to generate draft letters responding to appeals for healthcare services. The solution was developed and deployed within six months to reduce nurse workload and accelerate appeal determinations; specially trained nurses review and finalize the drafts. MedScribe enabled nurses to process many more letters per day while maintaining high approval quality.
